Two former Coventry City players, Donovan Simmonds and Robbie Simpson have moved to new clubs over the weekend.
The 21 year old Simmonds has signed a short term contract with Rushden and Diamonds after scoring in their 5-0 win over Nuneaton in a testimonial game.
Simmonds was signed from Charlton by Iain Dowie when he was City boss and spent two spells on loan with Gillingham and in the Scottish Premier League with Kilmarnock, before being released in 2009.
As reported on Friday night, Robbie Simpson has joined Brentford from Huddersfield on a season long loan.
Simpson joined Coventry from Cambridge after completed a sport science and maths degree at Loghborough university where he had two seasons before being signed by Huddersfield for £300,000.
Simpson made his debut against Carlisle on Saturday.
