Oldham Athletic manager Lee Johnson has urged his side not to get carried away after their 4-1 win against Coventry City.
“We’ve done well to go 12 games unbeaten but I don’t see why we should get carried away,” Johnson told Sheldan Keay of the Manchester Evening News
“All the big clubs are up there with us and they can go and spend big if a few results don’t go their way.
“Our squad is in decent shape so we will just keep believing we’re in with a chance of finishing above some of those sides.
"We did brillianly to be beat Coventry 4-1 on Tuesday but I’d have rather it been 1-0 or 2-1 as a big result like that can make people think we’re there.
“We’re not there yet, and we still have got a lot of work to do, but we’ll go into Saturday’s game full of energy.”
