Coventry City Chairman Ray Ranson has urged City supporters unhappy about the lack of players being signed by the club whilst the likes of Scott Dann, Robbie Simpson and Guillaume Beuzelin are allowed to leave, not to panic.

"There's no need for anyone to panic," said Ray Ranson speaking to the CT.

"We have spoken to all the clubs and parties involved and we are just waiting for things to fall into place.

"These things take time but I am confident we will have three or four bodies through the door soon.

"The players have not even started back for pre-season training yet, so we are certainly not worried.

"It is an ongoing situation and we are in negotiations with a number of clubs regarding players we would like to bring to Coventry City."
