Several Coventry City players are either out of contract, or their contracts expire in the very near future and with the sacking of their manager yesterday, they are now in the dark as to if they will have a future at the club.
Three players affected are Clinton Morrison, Stephen Wright and Dimi Konstantopoulos. They have been told by chairman Ray Ranson that their contract talks have been put on hold for the time being.
The players have a stark choice, either they wait and see if the new manager wants to retain their services or they can look elsewhere for alternative employment,
Chairman Ray Ranson was unequivocal when asked if contract negotiations were on hold, he said,"Yes, but if they can sort themselves out and want to fix themselves up with other clubs then that's their prerogative."
