Iain Dowie will have to pay compensation following the High Court case with Crystal Palace Chairman Simon Jordan. The now City boss found out today that he would have to pay costs amounting to around £700,000 of both Mr Jordan and his own legal expenses.
However, Justice Tugenhat refused Dowie an appeal saying: "It is for the Court of Appeal to decide whether he should have leave to challenge the rulings." Dowie must pay £150,000 "on account" to the court within 42 days.
Dowie Forced To Cough Up
The amount of compensation payable to Mr Jordan has not yet been announced.
