Iain Dowie has vowed to continue as manager of Coventry City.
Speaking to the CT, he said: "I am assured that administration is not going to happen but the longer we go without a takeover the more likely it looms.
"The embargo was a bit of a shock to everyone. "But too much is being made of it and I am fed up talking about it.
"Everybody knows the situation. Signing players is now out of the window and probably was on Saturday but I don't want to undermine what the lads are doing.
"There is too much character and desire within the lads for me to be talking about an embargo.
Dowie Happy To Stand Up And Be Counted
"The lads are aware of it but we get on with it. When you have a bad result people start talking about the players and questioning them. I won't do that because they are an outstanding group.
"You have to stand up and be counted. People can start blaming this, that and the other but I am the manager and I've lost three in a row. That's my fault, nobody else's"
