A poll on this site has revealed that 75% of City supporters who responded, still give their full backing to Iain Dowie as Coventry City manager.
Worryingly for Dowie, who is the highest paid manager in the club's history, is the rise in numbers of those not happy with him which has risen from eight per cent to twenty five per cent.
With the Sky Blues in 19th place in the Championship, the City boss is keen to tap into the overseas market and has had European Scout Gary Seward using contacts to check on players in the African Cup of Nations.
Speaking to the CT, Dowie admitted: "I have always said that a scouting network takes time and that is something for the long term. "We are ahead of a lot of teams by having Gary Seward based in France and have talked about the long term strategy at the club and this is something we need to go into because the English market is much more inflated than others.
"I am a great believer in recruitment which is a key element."
