Dowie Thanks For The Support

Iain Dowie has thanked the City supporters for their backing since his appointment.

Said Dowie to the CT: "I have got no problem with someone having a bad game. "The biggest disappointment to me was that we had a fantastic following."The fans were very much behind us and we didn't give them a performance, so we have got to give them one now at home.

"The supporters have been fantastic since I have been here and we want them believing in us again with a big performance against QPR on Saturday.

"We are not here just to please the fans but I think we are starting to get up a head of steam.

"We have had a little step back and we have got to make sure we get back on it."
