Coventry City midfielder Michael Doyle will take his place on the bench tonight for the visit of Aldershot Town in the League Cup.
The Irishman had two hernia operations in the close season but is fit and raring to go.
Said Chris Coleman to the CT: "Michael has worked very hard and in terms of physical condition, he's very good - he can run for ever - but he could do with two or three games before he is up to maximum tempo. "It will be good to have him back."
Injuries have meant five changes to the team which beat Norwich on Saturday. Jay Tabb and Julian Gray both took knocks in the game whilst Keiran Westwood has a thigh niggle, scoring substitute Leon McKenzie has a bug with Kevin Thornton picking up a knock in training.
Michael Mifsud is set to return playing wide left.
