"I spoke to Simon about where this might go in the future and he was really positive about that," said Doyle to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
"Every loan can be with a view to a permanent move really. It's up to the player to go and prove himself - to make it a permanent move.
"If I do what I can do, impress Simon and everyone at Leeds then they'll want to keep me.
"If I don't do my job then I'll be going back to Coventry. It's down to me and I hope something can happen from it."
