Coventry City midfield Michael Doyle has admitted that he needs a hernia operation but will delay it until the end of the season to help the Sky Blues as they battle against relegation.
Doyle is not been training much during the week in a bid to be able to make matches and told the CT: "The manager has been great and allowed me take it a bit easier during the week. "I need an op but because of the situation we are in at the moment I have put it off until the end of the season."
Doyle joins Andy Marshall in needing an operation. The keeper requires an operation on his back and like Doyle, will have it after the season finishes on May 4th.
Stephen Hughes should be available for the trip to Southampton on Saturday. The midfielder took a nasty bang to his knee but should be ok to play for Chris Coleman's side in the vital six pointer at St Marys.
