Richard Duffy admits he is looking forward to a new season at the Sky Blues. The Portsmouth defender who joined on a season long loan has still to sort out his Fratton Park career with new boss Alain Perrin but admits that there is a lot of hard work in store fo the City players before the season starts on August 6th.
Duffy Looking Forward
Duffy told Sky Blue World: "I was here for three months last season so I think I knew a lot about the place and the manager, so there wasn't really a decision to make.
"It's very hard, but it was always going to be hard pre-season and you've got to get through it no matter what. We've got a bit of time then we're off to Ibiza so we've got to get the fitness in there.
"It's five or six weeks until the start of the season, but it's a long time and we've got plenty of training and a few pre-season games.
"Looking at the start of the season we've got to play those three away games through the season anyway, so it doesn't make any difference."
