Anthony Rougier was the unlucky person omitted from the 23 player preliminary squad.
Former City defender Gary Caldwell played for Scotland in their 0-0 Kirin Cup draw with Japan this morning. Caldwell is currently at Hibs but will join the list of Coventry City connections at Celtic after agreeing to sign for Gordon Strachan's side.
