Chris Eagles has decided after his trial that he will not be joining Coventry City.
The former Burnley and Manchester United player had been training with the Sky Blues last week but has opted to sign for Bury FC instead.
City Boss Tony Mowbray is quoted by the Coventry Telegraph as saying: "Someone told me he signed for Bury this morning so if that's the case we wish him well.
"We need to speak to him about that. I enjoyed him for a week but we wish him well at Bury.
"Maybe location may have been a factor, I don't know."
