The draw for the groups in the EFL Trophy will take place this morning.
The Football League will announce at 10am the groups which will include Coventry City, thirty minutes after announcing which Category 1 Academy teams they have convinced to take part in the competition which was voted for by the likes of City's MD Chris Anderson.
U23 Teams: Blackburn Rovers, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, Derby County, Everton, Leicester City, Middlesbrough, Norwich, Reading, Southampton, Stoke City, Sunderland, Swansea City, West Brom, West Ham, Wolves.
League One teams; AFC Wimbledon, Bolton Wanderers, Bradford City, Bristol Rovers, Bury, Charlton Athletic, Chesterfield, Coventry City, Fleetwood Town, Gillingham, Millwall, MK Dons, Northampton Town, Oldham Athletic, Oxford United, Peterborough United, Port Vale, Rochdale, Scunthorpe United, Sheffield United, Shrewsbury Town, Southend United, Swindon Town, Walsall.
