According to The People's Neil Moxley, new Coventry City striker Lateef Elford-Alliyu was involved in the on off transfer of West Bromwich's Albion's Saido Berahinho.
Mr Moxley claims that as Berahinho was waiting to hear on Tuesday, his driver Elford-Alliyu was sorting out a move to the Sky Blues.
There was a heated exchange as Elford-Alliyu has been the driver for Berahinho since he got a ban for driving and he had dropped Berahinho off at at West Brom's training ground and then drove in Berahinho's range rover to Coventry to sort out a four month deal.
Berahinho, convinced he was heading to London to talk to Spurs, made a frantic phone call, thus leaving Elford-Alliyu in the tricky position of trying to sort out a deal with Coventry City but not jeopardise his employer's own £25m move.
Finally, Elford-Alliyu received a phone call from Berahinho that a move to Spurs was not going through and he was able to sign for Coventry City
