Elliott Reveals Take-Over Complexity

Speaking to the CT, Mr Elliott said: "It has already been a tremendously long process but I say with conviction that I feel we have made significant progress in the last three days and I believe there is certainly a light at the end of the tunnel.

"Make no mistake - this is a huge business deal with a number of stake-holders involved and for that reason, it was never going to be easy. "There are nine separate transactions which need to be completed between six different groups.

"Everyone is talking round the table and great progress is being made, and we are still hopeful that we can tie up the deal in this period."
