The former London Supporters Club Secretary and now City Vice Chairman told the CT: "As a Coventry fan, the last seven years have been terrible. "From the day we were relegated to promises that have been broken, we have all felt it and there have been some terrible performances on the pitch. "So it has been seven years that have not been very pleasant for any Coventry City supporter, and I hope that is behind us.
"But just because we have got new owners that have done a fantastic job of rescuing us from administration, it doesn't mean that overnight the club stops losing money. "Fans will have read about the £80,000 a week that the club was losing and continues to lose, so just because we change ownership doesn't mean that goes away. There is no fairy dust that is sprinkled on the club and suddenly it starts making money again.
"There have been some difficult decisions to make and there will continue to be some difficult decisions to be made as we begin to run the club as a proper business because it hasn't been run as a proper business for some time.
"As we do that the club will stabilise and investment will be made in the most important product that we have, which is the stuff on the pitch, and as fans that's what we all want to hear. "So we will be making that investment and clearly the next couple of months are going to be important for setting the scene for next year.
