The Coventry born defender came on against Cardiff City when Ellliott Ward picked up a groin injury on Tuesday night and told the club website: "I always make sure I'm ready becasue you can't not warm up or not watch the match to see what the other team is doing if there is a chance you are going to be called to go. You always need to be on the ball.
"I always make sure I'm prepared for whatever happens at any given second and I've always been like that. So if the manager calls upon me on Saturday hopefully I can put in a good performance."
Speaking about his part in Scott Dann's goal at Cardiff, Hall who was superb against Leicester City Reserves said: "It was strange laying on the pass to my defensive partner for a goal because it was strange for me to be in the position to do it but it's definitely nice all the same.
"There have been times this season where we have walked away with a point when we have deserved three and offensively we are not getting the rub of the green at the moment. "But when we do, and the goals start coming, I think you will see us start to climb that league table."
