Every Point Is Precious - O'Driscoll

Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll was happy with a point after his side came back to snatch a late draw against Coventry City on Tuesday night.

Speaking to the Press Association after the 1-1 draw, O'Driscoll said: "We have got one or two coming back from injury but had another three out tonight and then our top scorer Billy Sharp had to come off as well.

"Our back four was made up of four centre-halves so we were not going to get much in the way of pretty football going forward from any of them.

"The crowd wanted us to keep the ball on the floor which is normally our style but the pitch was bobbly and it was very difficult to control.

"It's not the way we normally like to play but it's a case of having to play to your strengths with what you have available.

"We were more competitive than we were against Leeds on Saturday and we kept on going and going until we scored.

"Every point is precious in this division and it's all credit to the players for digging in. Hopefully the point will give us a bit more confidence and belief for the next two games."
