Everybody Has To Take Responsibility - Pressley

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said everyone at the club has to take responsbility for the Sky Blues run of poor form, which has seen only one point in eighteen and no away league wins since last March.

"We’re losing bread-and-butter goals and we cannot do that," said Pressley to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole.

“I say ‘we’ because at times like this everybody in the club has to take responsibility and ask ‘can I do better?’

“There is a reason for the leagues; the better players are at the top end and the poorer players are at the bottom end – it has to be the aspiration of the players at the bottom to get to the top and the only way they’ll do that is by performing well.

“I don’t want Bristol City to be coming to the Ricoh and winning games – I want us to be the best side in the league, winning those games and many of the things we’re doing are very positive.

“Many clubs who have had to endure what we have and rebuild go through these periods and come out the other end stronger – and we will do.”
