Speaking about the City manager to the CT, Gunnarsson said: "Everything is so much better compared to last season. The training has been better with more quality and there is a lot more confidence.
"The gaffer picks everyone up before each game and tells us what we are good at and that our opponents are going to be afraid to meet us.
"He makes you think you are the best so he has been doing a wonderful job and I think we will be in top form against Reading. He knows a lot about football and he knows every single player.
"I think he knows more about me than my mum does. But there is definitely more to come yet."
