Former Coventry City Director Leonard Brody feels that the Sky Blues need fans representation on the board as well community involvement.
Speaking to the CT, from San Francisco via phone, Mr Brody explained why he was stepping down saying: “I am afraid that my daily work schedule and business affairs outside of Coventry City have made it increasingly difficult for me to continue to provide the kind of hands on attention the club requires and deserves.”
Mr Brody will continue to be a shareholder of Sky Blue Sport and Leisure Limited, the ultimate parent company of the club and he added: “I also feel it is important to ensure that is there is room made on the board for people from the community, whose input is vital to the success of the business.
"I think it needs more fan representation on the board from the community.
“I am a big believer that community ownership in this team is critical and that’s one of the big things I want to push for.”
