Fans to give Football League a sky blue makeover!‏

Coventry City supporters are planning to give the Football League’s London office a ‘sky blue makeover’ this Friday, 6 June, 5pm.

The Football League’s role in the CCFC fiasco is again in the news with the Telegraph revealing confusion over the League’s deadline for club owner, sisu, to pay arrears owed to the Ricoh Arena management company, ACL. Next week sees what some are calling ‘high noon in the High Court’ as sisu seek to prove there was a conspiracy to wrest control of the football club away from them, by Coventry City Council.

Fans have adopted the sky blue ribbon as their campaign symbol – to show they are waiting for the club to return to its home in Coventry - and on Friday will decorate the front of the Football League office with ribbons, sky blue balloons and posters urging people to sign the www.FixFootball.co.uk petition for an Independent Inquiry into the CCFC fiasco.

Football League bosses are having their annual three day conference this week and will return to their office to find a clear reminder that City fans are not giving up on the fight to return the Sky Blues to Coventry. You never know, Football League staff left behind in the office might even sign the petition!

● Fans will meet at 5pm on Friday at the Football League office, 30 Gloucester Place, London W1U 8PL followed by a drink at The Union, 88/90 George Street W1U 8NW, to which all are welcome.
