Coventry City U23's Jason Farndon was pleased with his side coming from a goal down to beat Colchester United at the Alan Higgs Centre yesterday.
Farndon told the club website: "I’m pleased with the game and the result because we haven’t been on the best of runs at the moment so we’re happy with the outcome.
“We weren’t quite at it in the first half and we were a little bit poor, so at half-time we had a chat and had a frank conversation with all the lads who weren’t quite working hard enough, and I think they then changed it up in the second half and we were much the better team from then on.
“During the first half, even though we weren’t at our best I think we still had our chances and were creative, but we were just a little open to transition, so we addressed that at half time and changed a few things tactically and second half we ran all over them.
“We’ve not been happy with the results recently, the performances haven’t been to bad, but we haven’t really had a settled team in the last few games or settled players.
“It’s not just been the players, it has been the balance of the side. In some games we’ve played without centre forwards and centre midfielders, but against Colchester I thought we had the right balance and the right mix between youth and experience.”
