Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that City U23's coach Jason Farndon will have the final say on whether their latest trialist get a contract with City for next season.
The trialist. who could be Callum Slattery of Southampton, scored in the U23's win over Nottingham Forest last Friday and is available according to reports.
The trialist, who played on the right side of midfield for City U23's worked well and was certainly worth another look.
As to whether he could be offered a contract, Mark Robins said to the Coventry Telegraph: “That’s down to the lads looking after the Under-23s.
"I have seen him train and seen him play and he’s got some good quality.
“He’s a midfield player who can do a bit of everything."
Both Mark Robins and Jason Farndon have said that they will be again recruiting players for the U23's side for next season.
