Doncaster Rovers boss Darren Ferguson has said that his side travel to Coventry City on Saturday confident after beating Chesterfield on Tuesday night.
Speaking to the Doncaster Free Press, Ferguson said: “I thought it was a good performance, and it was good to get another clean sheet.
“If anything it makes the result on Saturday [against Rochdale] a bit more annoying.
“If we’d picked a point up there we’d have kept the run going.
“But it’s four wins out of five now, three in four in the league, so hopefully Saturday was a blip.
“We just have to keep on going.
“It puts us in an even more positive frame of mind ahead of Coventry.
“We’re going there with a lot of confidence.
“It’ll be a tough game, they’re a good team. But at least we’re going there with that confidence of knowing we’re on a good run.”
