Coventry Sphinx play their final Midland Alliance home game of the season this afternoon when they take on Bridgnorth Town.
After a good season last year, where Sphinx challenged for the Alliance crown, this year, has seen three managers and a whole host of new players.
Early on, Sphinx took their time to gel, not helped by the departures of manager Carl Nolan and caretaker Andy Taylor but Sphinx stalwart Luke Hopkins came in and steadied the ship.
Hopkins and his backroom team have helped to develop the emerging talent of players who want to play for the club.
The gutsy, never give up style that Sphinx supporters have become accustomed to over the years has been very much in evidence and carried Sphinx to a first ever Birmingham Senior Cup Semi-Final against Hednesford Town which Sphinx unluckily lost 3-2.
In the League, Sphinx were finally mathematically safe from the dogfight which has embroiled the likes of Studley, Heath Hayes, Highgate and Ellesmere Rangers over the last week, with a 1-1 draw at Continental Star and go into this afternoon's game looking to finish the home campaign on a high.
Kick off at Sphinx Drive is at 3pm and admission is £5 for adults and £3 concessions.
