Coventry City have taken delivery of the first batch of their new home kits for next season.
The kits were delivered by shirt sponsors City Link who also are a sponsor of Coventry City Ladies FC and will be sent out to supporters who have pre-ordered the kit from Thursday.
All the pre-orders will be sent out from Thursday onwards ahead of the general sale on June 3rd. There will be a further delivery of stock in July.
Justin Tose, the club's retail manager, said Coventry City have worked hard with suppliers Puma and sponsors City Link to get them delivered much sooner than usual and told the club website: "One of the main messages we had from fans this season was to try to get the new kit out to them and in store as early as possible.
"It's understandable. Supporters want them nice and early so they can be among the first to wear the new kit and also fans like them for their summer holidays.
"We responded to the feedback and we've needed good buy-in from Puma, Genesis and City Link who have all played their part in getting the kit to us nice and early.
"It's great too because we had such strong support for the new kit at the final home game against Reading, we didn't want to lose that momentum by waiting until August for fans to be able to actually get their hands on the kit.
"Pre-order sales have been very good - double where we were at the same time last year, so it shows supporters are really pleased with the new look kit."
You can pre-order the kit by popping into one of the two club shops or via the http://www.ccfcshop.co.uk/
Adult short-sleeved shirts are priced at £34.99 and junior short-sleeved shirts are priced at £24.99. Any pre-orders received before the May 25 will receive a free retro badge set.
The away kit will remain the same for the 2011/12 campaign.
