"We got some pride back in the second half. But if you are to get out of this league, you can't mix it up like we did," said Boothroyd to the Press Association.
"We looked lost in the first half, then did more of what we've been working on after the break.
"Part of getting out of this league is being consistent. You can't turn it on and off like a light switch.
"But it took us 45 minutes to introduce ourselves to Swansea.
"It's not acceptable - even when your not playing well you can be on the front foot and we weren't."
