First League Visit Of West Ham To The Ricoh

Saturday will see the 93rd league and cup match between Coventry City and West Ham United.

City have won 26 of those games and drawn 24. They have scored 100 goals compared to West Ham United's 144.

This will be West Ham's first visit for a league game. They have played a League Cup tie at the Ricoh Arena on October 30th 2007 which the Hammers won 2-1.

The last league game between the two sides was at Highfield Road on Monday August 30th 2004 and saw a 2-1 win for City. Teddy Sheringham put the East Londoners ahead in the 40th minute but Michael Doyle levelled in the 45th minute. In the game which proved to be Calum Davenport's last game before he was sold to satisfy the bank and saw Steve Lomas sent off, Andy Morrell hit the winner in the 76th minute.
