Coventry City Chairman Tim Fisher has said that the club is not for sale after reports this morning in The Sun.
An article claims that city bankers have identified six clubs, including Coventry City, Bristol City, Gillingham, Cambridge United, MK Dons and Peterborough United.that are interesting billionaire Saudis and Russians who want a club they can get in to the Premier League.
However, Tim Fisher has dismissed the article and told Simon Gilbert of the Coventry Telegraph: “Having read the article, I’m not so sure any of the clubs are for sale - certainly Coventry City Football Club is not for sale.
“The numbers quoted seem, at best, inaccurate.”
