Coventry City Chairman Tim Fisher has said that Sisu are in no mood for selling the Sky Blues.
Fisher, who was booed, abused and jeered when he appeared on the big screen at Wembley Stadium yesterday by sections of the City support, told Talk Sport: “My sense is, speaking to the owner as I do regularly, there is no mood to sell.
“This is all about getting the football club back up the leagues.”
Fisher felt the booing etc, that his appearance brought was a great shame and said: “But it’s not about me, it’s not about the ownership, it’s about the football club first and foremost, and it’s about the players and the manager.
“We do everything we can to get behind the playing staff, to produce what has been seen [at Wembley].
“It’s all about the supporters.
“They have been craving success and they’ve had a little peek of sunlight today that we want to continue."
Speaking about the League One campaign next season, Mr Fisher said: "We have two budgets: a budget for League Two and a budget for League One.
“So now we move on to the League One budget, which is interesting. We are going to give it a go as we don’t want to be down in League One, we want to push on again.
“It’s all about player recruitment and getting those players we want in, and that will be the focus over the next couple of weeks.”
