City supporting Flowers, was employed at Sixfields last season as a goalkeeping coach but left to help out Iain Dowie try and keep Hull City in the Premier League.
With Dowie not getting the full time job at the KC Stadium, Flowers, a regular pundit on the BBC One Late Kick Off programme, has returned to his previous employment.
