Forest May Have To Wait For Best

Nottingham Forest may have to wait until the summer to sign Leon Best. The League One club have put in a new bid for the striker but Iain Dowie has said that Best is not going anywhere unless he gets another striker in.

Dowie is short of strikers after loaning Kevin Kyle to Wolves and selling Dele Adebola to Bristol City and said to the CT: They made a re-jigged bid rather than a new bid so they have changed it around to make it look prettier.

"There is something on the table but it is not quite what we want. "But Leon won't be moving anywhere unless I can get similar or better cover in."
