Former Coventry City defender Blair Adams has joined Cambridge United.
The 24 year old, played 43 times for City before being released and last season was at Notts County and had a spell at Mansfield Town.
Adams has signed a one year deal with Cambridge United and teams up again with Shaun Derry who is in charge of the U's.
Adams told the Cambridge United club website: “I’ve had the opportunity to meet the players, the staff and have enjoyed my time already, and I’m really pleased to get the deal done.
“Every season I have built my portfolio and my experience. I had a good spell on loan at Mansfield and I want to take that into this season. It’s a new club and a new start, but obviously I’ve worked for the Manager before so we know how each other operates.
“I played my best football to date under Shaun at Notts County, so I can’t wait to see what the season brings."
