Former Coventry City goalkeeper Chris Kirkland has been offered a new deal with Sheffield Wednesday.
The keeper whose sale to Liverpool, eventually led to the departure of Chairman Bryan Richardson from the Sky Blues, has made 81 appearances for The Owls and been offered a new deal.
Meanwhile, former Coventry City loanee Kasper Schmeichel is in talks with Leicester City about a new contract.
Arsenal and AC Milan have been linked with Schmeichel who is out of contract on June 30th, but the keeper has said that he wants to stay at Leicester and told BBC Radio Leicester: "It's up to the club at the moment. We've had some preliminary conversations. "Of course I want to stay. We've got to the Premier League and I'm happy here, but it's not up to me."
