Former Coventry City loanee Peter Clarke has re-joined Bury.
Clarke, who made five appearances for City in 2004 including getting sent off in a win at Cardiff City, first joined Bury in 2015 from Blackpool and was at Gigg Lane for a season before going to Oldham Athletic, who have now loaned him to Bury until May 5th.
Bury Manager Manager Chris Lucketti said to his club's website: “Peter Clarke is up there with the best characters. I know his affiliation with the Club from his previous time here – I played with him at Huddersfield in the past. I know all about him, he’s a real man, he’s a leader and I’m delighted to have brought him to the Club”.
Peter Clarke said: “It’s nice to be back, not a lot’s changed in terms of the facilities, the building, some of the staff. It’s back into training tomorrow morning, crack on, and hopefully in the side and we can pick up some results and move where we all want to go”.
