Former City Old Boy Makes A Comeback Aged 45

Former Coventry City youngster Terry Fleming is making a comeback.

Fleming, made thirteen appearances for City after playing for the youth team and reserves between 1991 and 1993, before going to Northampton, Preston and Lincoln City for whom he made 183 appearances.

Spell at Plymouth, Cambridge, where he made over one hundred appearances and Grimsby Town followed before he moved into non-league, with spells at Moor Green, Halesowen, Grantham, Lincoln United, Sleaford and Boston before joining Matlock Town this season.

Matlock have thirteen players missing and the 45 year old Fleming, who is joint assistant manager, has been forced to don his boots once more and has signed playing forms.

He went straight into Matlock's squad for their Northern Premier League Integro Cup fixture against Basford United. Fleming played for 69 minutes in a game which Matlock lost 1-0.
