Former Coventry City Reserves manager Alan Cork will be scouting for England during the 2016 European Championships.
Cork, who worked with Micky Adams at City, will be keeping his eye on Slovakia for Roy Hodgson.
His scouting for England role meant that he was at the Stade de France in Paris, last November when three explosive devices went off near the stadium.
The father of former City loanee Jack, told the BBC that he not concerned about returning to Paris and said: If you worry about it you can never do anything in your life.
"If there's an attack you hope you're not there. It's the selfish thing to say but it's the way to look at it.
"It becomes more scary when you remember you were there and it could have been a lot worse. But I've not really thought about it because I've been busy going to games. That's pushed it out of my mind."
