Former Coventry City youngster Arron Stringfellow has joined Coventry Sphinx.
Stringfellow, a defender, has played for the likes of Daventry Town and Rugby Town.
Former Coventry City midfielders Gael Bigirimana and Andy Rose, played at Hampden Park this afternoon. Bigirimana played an hour before being replaced by Rose in Motherwell's 5-1 League Cup win at Queens Park.
Newcastle United have upped their bid for former Coventry City winger Jacob Murphy. The England U21 international sat out Norwich City's pre-season game against Cambridge United and The Geordies are hoping to have a deal for him done next week.
