Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said his side picked up four injuries during the 3-0 defeat to Norwich City at the Ricoh Arena.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "I've been really pleased with the way pre-season has gone and I was pleased with today for the first hour but unfortunately we then had to go on and pick up three or four knocks.
"We started bringing our younger lads on and Norwich started bringing their best players on and it was difficult but in situations like that it's just about being cautious with the injury situation and all in all I thought the lads acquitted themselves really well.
"Our younger boys I thought were an absolute credit to the club and they have been throughout pre-season and I felt for the first hour we more than matched Norwich and we had our chances as well as them having theirs.
"The injuries were unfortunate but you have to get on with it and deal with it and we will and just make sure we are right to start the season against Leicester.”
