The newly formed Coventry City Former Players Association is to parade surviving members of the 1967 promotion wining team before the game with Preston North End on Saturday.
FPA To Parade 67 Team
Chairman Jim Brown commented: "This will be a very special and emotional event as many of the players have not been back to the club for many years and I am sure all our older fans will enjoy celebrating the return of the '67 squad and express their appreciation for the memories they gave us.
"These players made history for the club and helped put the club firmly on the football map. They were the legends upon which this club built its reputation and we should cherish them. "They will be paraded on the pitch at half-time and I am sure they will receive a massive welcome from our supporters."
George Curtis,Bobby Gould,John Tudor and manager Jimmy Hill have amongst others given their intention to attend.
