Frankie Says No

Faysal El Idrissi has left Coventry City. The forward who was released by 1.FC Saarbrukken in the summer, was offered only a month contract by Micky Adams and has decided to look elsewhere to ply his footballing trade.

The Moroccan, who was nicknamed "Frankie" due to his resemblance to jockey Frankie Dettori,scored on his debut in the friendly at Kidderminster,a reserve friendly versus Notts County before making a substitute appearance in City's 0-0 league draw with Leicester City.

His final appearance saw him start City's League Cup tie at Hereford last Tuesday which City lost 3-1.
