Coventry City Manager Andy Thorn has paid tribute to City Academy boss Gregor Rioch for the way he has prepared the players to play Thorn’s brand of football.
Rioch has had his players playing an attacking, entertaining game at U18’s level, whereby the Sky Blues always look to move the ball forward but those who came into the game at Nuneaton, soon adopted the style of football that Thorn wanted.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Andy Thorn said: “I've been delighted with the young lads. They did really well on Saturday I thought and I think that's just a credit to Gregor Rioch and his academy staff for preparing them to play the way we want them to play."
