Coventry City loanee Gael Bigirimana has said that he wants to help the Sky Blues to get promoted.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph at this morning's press conference, the midfielder said:"I have been through two difficult years, personally and football-wise. I have grown a lot, left a boy, came back a man.”
“When I left the club behind there was not a good spirit. Players wanted to leave so to come back and see how positive people are is fantastic.
Ultimately Tony Mowbray is the gaffer and has a lot of experience. He is a very good man as well as being a good coach and manager. When it comes to doing my bit I have to show him I am available to play, whether that is starting or coming from the bench.
“And come the end of the season, god willing, we get promotion. That’s why I am here.
In my career right now I need to be playing games, every weekend to get experience. If at the end of the season the manager thinks I have done well and the fans are happy it comes down to the two clubs to make a decision
“I would never say anything bad about Newcastle but Coventry has always been my team, always checking the score. Being back here will help me, for sure.”
