Former Coventry City youngster Gael Bigirimana is to be limited in his appearances for Newcastle United, manager Alan Pardew has announced.
Bigirimana has featured quite a bit for Newcastle in Europa League and Premier League matches since his move from Coventry last summer and speaking to The Shields Gazette, Pardew said: “We’re chuffed with him, but we can’t expect him to play the next 17 games for us.
“I still expect him to only play four or five games.
“We should have (Vurnon) Anita, Cabaye, (Sylvain) Marveaux and Cheik when he comes back, hopefully fit and well, playing.
“He shouldn’t really get in there yet, but he will do at some point.”
