George Thomas has said that tomorrow's League One home game against Gillingham is a massive game for Coventry City.
This is a must win game for the Sky Blues who go into the game, knowing that a loss and results elsewhere not going their way could see them up to fourteen points adrift of safety.
“It’s a massive game for us," Thomas told Billie Marshall. "Three points is essential. I think it’s also important to put on a good performance because that can give everybody a lift going into the next few games.
“Im enjoying my role in the team, it’s a little different on the right-hand side because it’s a position I’ve not played for a few years. The results are disappointing, and if we can turn them around and I can keep myself in the side that would be even better.
“The defence were really good against AFC Wimbledon, but as a team we need to see games through. Hopefully we can achieve that this weekend and pick up an important three points.”
