New Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has urged City supporters to get behind the team.
Speaking to the CT, Boothroyd said: "There are always going to be people who doubt appointments. "Everyone has their favourites and there are probably people out there who are disappointed because they didn't end up with Jose Mourinho.
"But when it comes down to it, I think you have to judge people on facts and my CV would suggest I have got all it takes to get out of this league.
"I am a microwave sort of guy and want things to happen yesterday but at the same time I am experienced enough and battle hardened enough to know it does take time. I remember coming to the Ricoh and getting beat 4-0 - the season we went up funnily enough and winning 3-0 the year we didn't.
"There will always be good days and bad days, so my message to those who have got their doubts is just to give it some time and above all, get behind the team.
"The club have finished 17th, 19th, and 21st in the last three years, they haven't been in the Premier League for ten years and they've never got into the play-offs, so what have you got to lose?".
