Coventry City manager Iain Dowie has expressed how hard it is to attract top quality players to the club.
Said Dowie to the CT: "It is difficult at this time because those good players that are about, the loans and things, particularly from the bigger clubs are reluctant to let their players out because of the Champions League.
"Arsenal, for example, where they have got players in the Carling Cup, is difficult, so we will keep asking the question and hope that one pops up.
"We do our research and I had a look at Blackburn and Man City the other day and we just keep scouting games, which is very important, and had another couple of players looked at so there are a couple of different avenues we can look at across the broad spectrum with some young talent as well, and that's very important.
"The information is in the pot and it is just about getting them over the line."
